Dr Amit Gourav is a SCELSE a research fellow in the Meta-‘omics & Microbiomes cluster, under the supervision of Prof Hie Lim Kim. Before joining SCELSE, Amit was a PhD student in the Asian School of the Environment (ASE), NTU, researching the genetic diversity, demographic history, and environmental adaptations of indigenous populations in northern Asia and South America. Amit is particularly interested in history, and how different humans moved around from one place to another in the distant past.
